OVERVIEW

Sub-Surface is a representation of the ~100 Type B1 orca whales that use a unique form of communal hunting, where they generate synchronized, sub-surface waves to shatter the sheets of ice that seals rest on. During machining, as small as a 1/32” BEM was used to create the distinct markings of an orca whale, along with the rippling waves.
